Quals Update

I did not pass my qual exam. QoH put up a good fight on my behalf but could not change the committee’s mind. I will have to take it again in the fall quarter.

I have invited a few people from the dept to quiz me on the quals topics for a couple of hours tomorrow. I am not sure if I am quite ready to handle it yet, but then again, I never am. This morning’s Agnes comic strip captures my mindset quite succinctly.
