Results

I failed the qual exam. I can retake it in 6 months.

Had a not-so-good meeting with QoH.

I am devastated.

  This is bad! I am sorry for you.
  What do you think has happened? Were you tired? Did they ask questions you were not prepared for? Were you nervous?
  There are lots of reasons why one fails on critical exams. It is not that you can’t do it.
