Alea iacta est
I just sent out emails to 6 prospective advisors. I had been sitting on this for a couple of days now, and earlier this evening, I questioned myself what is it that I am waiting for? I have spoken to QoH about finding a new advisor, shortlisted the people I would like to work with, prepared an attack plan, got a friend to review the plan, and I have the outline of the initating email ready. There is nothing else left to do but actually send it out. So I took a long deep breath and did just that. Now that I have thrown myself the rocky cliff, I just hope my bloody parachute opens.
